Most of us know we should test regularly. The tricky part is remembering when we last did, which test it was and what we did in between. An STI test tracker turns that into something you can check in seconds.
What an STI test tracker is for
An STI test tracker is a personal log. You record which test you took, when, and the result, and the app helps you remember when you last tested. It does not replace a clinic, a doctor or a sexual health service, and it is not a diagnostic tool. It is just a tidy, private record. If you want the basics on frequency, read how often to get tested, and for timing see STI window periods.
Testing features in BodCount

- Test log. Record tests by specific infection, sample site and result, with the date.
- Last test at a glance. See when you last tested and which partners came after it.
- Test history. See your past tests in one list instead of searching old emails and texts.
- At-risk alerts. BodCount shows an in-app banner and tab badge when partners may be at risk, based on partners you logged since your last negative test, taking into account the infection and whether encounters were protected.
- Linked to your diary. Because your partners and encounters are in the same app, the information can be connected rather than scattered.
Why the alert feature exists
Telling people you may have exposed them is one of the hardest parts of a positive result. Having the relevant partners and dates in front of you makes it a bit easier to take the next step, which is talking to a healthcare professional and letting the right people know.
What it cannot do
Being clear about limits matters here. BodCount cannot check that the dates or results you enter are right, and it only knows about encounters you have logged. It does not give risk scores or tell you that you are "safe". A lack of alerts only means no positive result has been entered that triggers one. It does not mean no risk exists. A negative result may not rule out an infection if you tested too soon, so see the window periods guide and always speak to a healthcare professional about testing.
Private by design
Test results are some of the most sensitive things you can store. BodCount keeps your data on your iPhone, has no account system and offers Face ID, Touch ID or PIN protection. Your diary content is not sent to our servers. We use anonymous usage analytics (TelemetryDeck) with no diary content or names, and no ads or data selling. See the privacy policy for details.
Using it day to day
- Enter your test as soon as you get results while the details are fresh.
- Log encounters as they happen so the history is accurate. Our body count tracker app guide explains how.
- Use the calendar to see how your encounters line up with your tests.
Other apps also offer test tracking in different ways. Our comparison covers a few of them, and BodCount sits alongside a full sex diary.

You can record the specific infection tested, the sample site, the result and the date.

Your diary, including tests, is stored on your iPhone with no account needed, and can be locked with Face ID, Touch ID or a PIN. Diary content is not sent to our servers.
